Thiago Silva, who is set to leave Chelsea in the summer, is expected to miss this week’s action due to injury. He joins the Blues’ lengthy injury list also includes Wesley Fofana, Roméo Lavia, Reece James, Lesley Ugochukwu, Christopher Nkunku, Levi Colwill, Robert Sánchez, Enzo Fernández, Malo Gusto and Ben Chilwell. Mykhailo Mudryk and Moisés Caicedo will also be unavailable on Thursday after picking up their tenth and fifth yellow cards of the season respectively last weekend.
Tottenham will also miss Timo Werner who lasted only half an hour in their last game against Arsenal before being taken off due to injury. Manor Solomon (meniscus), Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring), Fraser Forster (ankle) and Destiny Udogie (hamstring) are also on the visitors’ list of absentees.
